We had plans to go for another BBQ event, but with the cloudy weather etc we decided against it. I started my run at 9.00 pm -- just in time to hear the 9.09 pm fireworks.

I left at 9.20 pm and it was still very busy in the streets in Clarendon. Nice.

It had been 6 days since I ran. Went for a late night run.

Started my run at 9.30 pm, it was relatively fresh outside. Good run but I was quite tired.

The weather was great last night, very fresh. So I ran at night, starting at 10.00 pm. "Late night route", essentially Custis-free but then back over Wilson/Fairfax/George Mason shortcut.

It's been a while that I made 46 minutes, but it was nice and fresh this morning and I felt good. Close to home I saw a wolf/fox/dog crossing the road.

Good start of the week.

The run was great, lovely weather. When I came back I told Sasha: "it felt like running in Aruba" and we were both wishing we were there ;)

Leo didn't agree with our plan for him (i.e., taking a nap) so I took him with my on my run. That was a lot of fun, and I greatly enjoyed it. He did too. We chatted and he pointed out things (lots of cars, the occasional dog).

It was hot and humid but I felt pretty good.

Well I pressed stop on my watch a little late but nevertheless, I was at 50 minutes today. Pretty slow. Feels good to run on Wednesday though.
