Isn't it a bloody shame that this Nawijn guy is trying to fix the cabinet? With all due respect: he and his party really, really messed up the last months, and all of a sudden he's worried about the current economical situation and wants to restore the cabinet.
My opinion? Too late. Months, months too late. Let's see what the voters will say about the Puinhopen van Fortuyn (mess of Fortuyn).
On May 15th we were watching elections at home. Jerry, Marjolein, Tibor, Janneke and Alrik were here to watch TV. We had a cosy evening and I invited everybody to come again on the night of the next elections, around Christmas.
I would like it my party wins a lot of votes, but that's not even the biggest reason why I'm happy with Balkenende's resignation. It's just that now it's clear that in politics not always the guys with the biggest mouth win, but the ones with the most capabilities will prevail in the end.
