While at Pondok Kaki Lima no rijsttafel is served, it is too good not to mention it on this list. A handful of vendors get together every Saturday morning and form an Indonesian market.

Kaki Lima, five feet in English, is the term used for street vendors in Indonesia. The term originates during short British colonialism in Java under Sir Stamford Raffles. During Raffles days there was city ordinance that requires the street vendors stay five feet away from the curb.
