We went to Water, Wind and Waves, an exhibition about Dutch maritime art in the 17th century.

We were a little early and the boys had a lot of energy so I parked at the Federal Reserve and we went for a long walk along Constitution. It's 1.5 miles from there to the museum so they had a change to release their energy.

The exhibition was small but nice -- 18 paintings and various wooden models of 17th century ships. Adrian was asking were the reddingsboeien were, a good observation.

We had a cup of coffee and then I took the boys back to the car, while my parents went to the Portrait Gallery. The way back went well -- there was plenty to see for the guys -- so all in they walked 3 miles today, real city dudes.
