On Saturday, Nov. 17, 2012 at 2 p.m., the Zwaanendael Museum, located at 102 Kings Highway in Lewes, DE 19958, will celebrate Dutch-American Heritage Day with a program on Sinterklaas, the traditional holiday figure of the Netherlands, and patron saint of mariners and the city of Amsterdam. The program will feature Dutch-born Jonathan De Jonge, a scholar at Temple University, who will portray the jolly white-bearded figure in a red coat who brings gifts for children.
