The Dutch and Belgian children must have been very good this year because Sinterklaas is coming to San Diego again! With great pleasure the Dutch/Belgian School San Diego & The San Diego Dutch & Belgian Meet-up Group would like to invite you to our annual Sinterklaas party!Date: Sunday December 4th 2011 Time: From 2:00 PM Until 5:30 PM Place: Solana Beach (details provided after RSVP) Program: 2:00 PM Crafts & preparing the children for Sint's arrival 2:45 PM Sinterklaas and Pieten arrive! 5:30 PM End of Sinterklaas celebration.
We will be having a Potluck dinner so please bring your favorite dish to share!
Coffee, tea, lemonade and traditional Dutch Sinterklaas treats will be provided. If you would like to enjoy another drink, please feel free to bring soda, juice, beer or wine (no hard liquor please).
Would you like to join us to celebrate Sinterklaas? Please send a check made payable to 'Anna Maria Kaya' and include the form below before November 18th. After we receive your payment and form below, you will receive a confirmation email. The confirmation email contains information regarding the location, a small present and a request to submit information about your child for Sinterklaas. Due to fire safety restrictions, our Solana Beach location limits the amount of guests to 200 people. So keep in mind once we have reached this limit, you will no longer be able to sign up for the event. We will promptly return any checks received after we reach the maximum capacity limit. Please sign up soon to make sure you have a spot!

DID YOU KNOW? The Dutch school in San Diego is still accepting new students (both Dutch & Belgian), and is a great place for your child to improve their Dutch. The school is Saturday mornings in La Jolla and the teachers are PABO credited. For more information contact: info-sandiego@dutchschoolla.org.
