Good Morning.
First of all, let me introduce my self, my name is Arry Menzana Lambertus, 33 years old, married and having 1 baby boy. I worked in Holland America Line as a cook from 2002-2007 and now i run a catering service at home and didin’t go back to the ship.
I am writing this e-mail due to the fact that i’ve been looking for my missing Dutch grand father who served as a captain in NMM( Netherland Millitaire Missie)around 19450-1955 in Bandung, West Java Indonesia.
My mother’s name is Ernawaty Lambertus, 56 years old and my grand mother’s name is Saemah.
My grand mother used to tell me when i was still a young boy that my grand father was a soldier, captain, served in Jalan Cimanoek no.12 Bandung in Division of Logistic. She used to call him as Liberty Niggebrugge, but i still have a doubt that Liberty might be only a nick name for Little Albert in English word or Bertje in Dutch word. My grand mother still received letters from him until the end of 50s or 65 and in his last letter to my grand mother he said that he’s about to move to California U.S.A. Unfortunately that we have no more documents or photographs of him left because of the flood that struck my grand mother’s house around 60s.
Some Netherlander that i have contacted with asked me to open the genealogy and stamboom in the internet and i did open it and they said that the closest information that they got from me was this man named:Albertus Mary Wilhelm Niggebrugge…my grand mother also told me that he was born somewhere in Soerabaja or Surabaya. He left Indonesia around 1953-1955.
My mother only recognizes his face when he was wearing a white military uniform with a big moustache and round eye balls ( the picture might be taken around 50s).
I am not looking for anything else but to make my mother happy and at last knowing where and who her father is.
Should you have any information regarding this matter please send me an e-mail through my addresses:

PS. Iam writing this e-mail with hope that this institution would be able to give us a help of this quest for my missing Dutch grand father moved to California from Netherland around 60s.
