First days with Jaap

Nora and Jaap are having a very good time together. She likes to look at his face and then she smiles.

Every day she spends more time on her tummy, and she's really getting better and better at holding up her head. There are even some early experiments on learning how to turn.

Jaap cooked bami for us yesterday -- a great recipe.

Warming up...

It's warming up and I'm warming up again after being out of the running (haha) for a while. After my cold I started, and I planned to do another run last Friday when all of a sudden we saw a house that we liked and we ultimately bid on. Unfortunately, our offer wasn't accepted. Anyway, I ran tonight and it was tough! I didn't record my time. But good to be running again.

Opa Jaap arrived

Today Nora's Opa arrived from Holland! We went to Dulles International to pick Jaap up, and it was wonderful to see him.

Nora was very interested in this new face and after a few minutes started smiling at her grandfather.

It's been a really busy weekend so far -- it's good that tomorrow is another day off.

Papa is home

It's the beginning of a long weekend and it was great coming home to my ladies.

Nora starts to enjoy "flying in the air" and we're having a lot of fun together.

Vriendschappelijke wedstrijd Nederland tegen Bulgarije

Om er alvast in te komen, een opwarmertje voor de EK!
We krijgen een hele afdeling van de kroeg, met meerdere tv's en ze verkopen ook nog zelfgemaakte kroketten!!!
Wedstrijd begint om 12 uur, en tot zover zal de wedstrijd in het Spaans uitgezonden worden.
Laten we de kroeg Oranje kleuren!!!!
