What can be more gezellig and entertaining than an afternoon of games that are played in the Netherlands and Flanders, at the maginificent facilities of Multilingual Chicago. A wonderful chance for our group members to get to know each other better under the excellent coordination of my wonderful cohost, Paytra!

Already a tradition in Chicago! The Sinterklaas festival for grownups in the
pakjesavond tradition. We will exchange gifts of symbolic value (everyone brings one and gets one), poems, and surprises. Last years people also brought special Sinterklaas treats.

Celebrate this Dutch and Flemish holiday with folks from the Netherlands, Belgium, Indonesia, Suriname, and the Dutch Caribbean. Great fun!

Let's all go to the beach at the end of the afternoon and build a campfire and eat some s'mores! Please; any suggestion for a beach are welcome!

We gaan het proberen. Haal die voetbalschoenen uit de kast! Bij voldoende interesse komen we op zondag 16 oktober bijelkaar om een informeel partijtje te voetballen en daarna te gaan lunchen en/of wat te gaan drinken.

Man, vrouw, jong en oud, Nederlanders, Belgen, Amerikaanse vrienden en vrienden van andere nationaliteiten, in en uit vorm, allemaal welkom! Het gaat vooral om de lol.
