This is an Orange County group for anyone Dutch, Belgian/Flemish, and is purely a social group. We organize get-togethers such as a monthly "borreltje" in a bar or restaurant somewhere in central Orange County, we meet up at local Dutch events, and sometimes people open up their houses for coffee or other things.

The club was founded in 1903 and has since offered a lively social and business meeting point for Dutch people living in and around New York. A touch of Old Amsterdam in the heart of New Amsterdam.

The Netherlands Club of Chicago has been around for almost 50 years. The Club strives to serve the Dutch community as well as those with interests in The Netherlands. To that end, we work closely with the Consulate General of The Netherlands in Chicago as well as NL Borrels in planning events such as Dutch American Heritage Day and also assist in the promotion of cultural events such as concerts.

Of a style commonly called "Dutch", the house is a combination of Dutch, Flemish, and English influences and is an excellent example of early 18th century Dutch architecture unique to the New Jersey-New York area. The house itself, of massive post and beam construction, measures 30 by 40 feet, sitting solidly on a stone foundation.
