Tonight I went for a run in Harmond Cove. It wasn't too cold but there was very chilly wind that made my chin tingle. I ran for only 26 minutes, not because of the cold (it wasn't that bad) but because it was getting pretty dark.

I didn't feel anything weird in my knees, which is really great because it means the 6,5 mile run on Sunday didn't strain anything. I'm on the right track.

This morning I did my next run in preparation for the half marathon. 6.5 miles is the longest I've ever run, and it went well. I feel pretty tired know obviously, but no pain or strange feelings in my knees. Last November I ran about 6.0 miles but that didn't go so well. Let's see if my training so far will help.

Yesterday evening I run outdoors again (a lot more fun). It was cold and I ran with longs pants. I was slow -- just under 40 minutes.

Yesterday evening it was raining and pretty cold and I didn't feel like running outside. I went for a run on the treadmill in the gym of our apartment complex. So boring!

I ran for precisely 30.00 minutes and I was glad I was done... I can't image doing this on a regular basis because it really is very boring. One of the guys in the gym put Ratatouille on the TV from his DVD device, which gave some distraction but I definitely prefer the outdoors.
