We had one hour for today's test Internet Programming. Some extra time would have been nicer but the questions weren't difficult and I had time to answer them all.

It had been a while since I was at the VU. There have been some changes; the area around the VU is being renovated.

I think I'm well-prepared for my test, but still I'm reading everything one more time.

It has been a very interesting and fun weekend. I've made some pictures but I don't have time to put them online now. At 13:30 I'll have my (last) test, Internet Programming.

Picture of Matteo, Eugenia, Osamu and Sasha.Yesterday evening Matteo and Eugenia arrived. During the day they saw some typical Dutch stuff, such as Gouda and the Kinderdijk windmills. We had dinner together and then we went for a walk in Haarlem.

Today Osamu arrived, he came by train. All the 'foreigners' are to the city now. I am studying for Monday's test, Internet Programming.

Jaap sent me a cable (thanks a lot!), and Ettie borrowed me her camera, so I can make some pictures this weekend.

On teletext this morning:

Teletext picture, with title: LPF-bestuur blijft om 'ongedierte'

"As long as this kind of eruptions happen in the vulcano that is the LPF, we'll stay. For the LPF, it is as with vermin. Just when you think you've killed them all, they will come back again." -- Hammerstein, LPF board member.

Added this picture June 28.Yesterday afternoon we went to Delft, to Ettie's graduation ceremony. I took some pictures but I can't retrieve them from the camera yet.

The teachers said Ettie was a very good student and very motivated. Good girl! :)

Read it here, or read what Dutch people like to do on their holidays.

The book describes the history and origins of the US Constitution, and contains the most important decisions of the Supreme Court. It contains the literal text of the Constitution and its Amendments and the Declaration of Independence. It also has a lot of information about the juridical system in the States. A very interesting book, which is written as a text-book for American college students. Bought it in the American Bookstore in Amsterdam.
