I've found some really cool pictures of our house on the website of the Haarlem Picture Archive (Archiefdienst Kennemerland).

As I wrote a few weeks ago our landlord told us that he and his brother bought the building after it was severely damaged by a fire. On this site there are many pictures of the fire of June 25th, 1980. There is a number of pictures of the inside of the building after the fire, even of our apartment!

I've put a selection of these pictures online.

Today is my 24th birthday and together with Mieke I celebrated it in Middenmeer.

It was nice there were so many guests!

There's an interview with my uncle in a newspaper, the Reformatorisch Dagblad.

I just received my birthday present! A wonderful bouquet flowers was delivered this morning. One of the neighbours (thanks!) put it in our halway, just in front of our door so it made a really nice surprise.


The flowers are from Stichting Dagcentra IJmond, a company I've worked for it the past and where I still sometimes give support. Thank you very much!

Yesterday evening I finished the pictures of the Spellenspektakel. Because I was quite busy this morning with some internship things I didn't put them online yet. But here they are!


I separated the pictures in a few sections: building up, Kolonisten, Behind the Scenes, pictures of the stands, Friday evening and Saturday evening. Click here for an overview of all of them. The pictures are big, the bandwidth of my server is limited so viewing them might take a while.
