The direct translation of the book's title is "How God Disappeared from Jorwerd". It deals with the changes in a village in Friesland between 1945 and 1995. The writer, Geert Mak, is a professor at the Universiteit van Amsterdam. He lived many years in this village and he spoke with many villagers.

Here are some pictures of the Kolonisten tournament November 23th, 2002. It was organised by 999 Games and the VARA, a Dutch broadcasting organisation. The 3rd participant was Fair Trade; they organized the catering with wine, coffee and snacks.

If you would like a bigger version of one of these pictures or if you have another question please leave me a message.

The Netherlands Maritime Museum.I've been reading articles for my internship today, on Co-Design.

In a while I'll be leaving to Amsterdam, to the ship of the Scheepsvaartmuseum (Netherlands Maritime Museum).

Tonight there'll be two Kolonisten tournaments at the same time. A WK Qualification and very big one just for fun. It's organized by 999 Games and the VARA (a Dutch broadcasting organisation).

I've improved the Excel spreadsheets as there was a maximum of 64 players and the big tournament tonight will have 130+ people playing.

We wanted to leave to Schiphol in about 30 minutes. But now it turns out Jaap's plane will arrive 30 minutes earlier. That means we would have to leave now to be on time.

Unfortunately he doesn't know we'll be there so he wouldn't wait for us either... too bad!

This morning I had a meeting with all my supervisors for my internship. Ralf Lämmel came to Haarlem and he and Bert and Petra met each other for the first time.

Bert, Petra and Ralf.

It was an interesting meeting and they approved my project plan.
