Yesterday went out with Joost & Ankie, it was nice. We saw Scooby-Do. I had never seen the cartoons, but it was still a funny movie to watch.

Monday my parents were here, we had a real cosy dinner. Made some appointments already for the period Alex' parents are here. That will be so nice!

Tonight my parents are coming for dinner. Work is quite easy today, we had a deadline Friday so it's quiet now. The customer will this week put the our website on-line.

Friday Ettie was in Haarlem; this weekend Alex & I spent in Brussels, together with Anja and Pleun. We saw the big marketsquare (La Grande Place), a big cathedral, the royal palace... was a nice weekend!

Ettie & Gerben were here yesterday, it was very nice! Made pizzas... if you don't mind me saying so: very delicious :)

Working on a paper for university, Human Computer Interaction. If the teacher accepts my synopsis (I hope so, because I started already!) it will be about Visual Program Languages and if they help the programmer. I just found out that we can't vote tomorrow in Haarlem! I called the municipal because we didn't get a letter about the elections; turns out on January 22th they've made a list of people living in Haarlem... and we moved 1st of February. I could vote in Amsterdam though, but can't really be bothered anymore now.

Just saw a protest-parade with driving organs; some protest against closing of the museum. More than 30 of them I think, quite noisy but nice.

Today a new heating-element was installed in the living room, I think the last big thing in the new house to be done. Saturday my father will come; to fix some last small things.

Yesterday again painting in Haarlem. we're done with the walls & ceiling now, only the windows need to be done another time. Somebody installed a new toilet; a nice surprise. Tomorrow my father & I will prepare the sleeping room -- it should be ready then.

It's been a while since I've made New Year's resolutions, but this year I've made one. I want to start work at 8:30.

When I worked at Net.Footworks I always started at 9:30 and I kept doing that when I joined Chess. It's nice to be able to wake up at 8:45 am, a time that most people are at their work already. However it also causes me to go home late, eating late, going to bed late, and thus waking up late again. And all that just to sleep in every morning, hmm.

So from now on I'll try to be at Chess at 8:30. This New Year's resolution is not on the list with common New Year's resolutions.

Oops, found out my website is *really* getting old. Working on it, promise. I'm looking forward to see Tibor & Janneke anyway, maybe I can combine the pleasant with the useful ("het aangename met het nuttige verenigen" as we say in Dutch).

Tomorrow we'll go and play games in Middelburg, Sunday in Delft. We'll have phone (and internet) Tuesday hopefully.

And Jerry & Marjolein will give a party tomorrow evening, cool.
