I lived in Den Haag for three years as a child, and although I don’t remember having poffertjes, I can easily see as how they might have been made in the Netherlands, especially with whipped cream. I had cream puffs there before I had them here in the States. It’s a shame I live in Tucson, not Phoenix, as I would love to try your poffertjes.
